Hello! Welcome back to another post about what the hard parts are of planning a party.
So for this post I want to talk about the harder parts of throwing a party or even planning a party and that is other opinions. What I mean by this is when you are looking to plan a party or help someone plan a party you have to listen to everyone's ideas and figure out how to bring it all to life. Well that can be hard to know how to take what everyone wants and bring their vision to life, or even better how to tell someone that their idea is not going to make it into the party.
These two things are the hardest because you have budgets and you have ideas and those two don't always work hand in hand. But this is were you can make that change. A lot of things can be done yourself such as; balloons, desserts, food and decorations. I say this because the internet is such a game changer it allows us to learn from other people and see how to do it ourselves. Well a great tip is Pinterest and Youtube! These two can really help you hown in on a vision and teach you how to bring it to life.
But how if your tight on budgets, time and vision. These three things can change by retraining the way you think. You can start by taking everything one step at a time and remember you are the only person who knows that the vision looks like. So with my first party it was actually my baby shower and I had such a vision for this party but I also had to make sure that I looked good and was ready for the event. Well those two things do not go hand and in hand so how do I expect someone else to bring my vision to life?
This situation would allow me one of two options; hire a party planner that understands my vision and is able to bring it to life or know that whoever I do get to help me may not 100% understand my vision but know that it's going to come out the best way that person knows how.
Guess what? My baby shower did not come out exactly how I wanted it too. I had so many details I wanted to have their and I made sure I had all the supplies. So I am sure you wondering then if you had everything then why didn't your vision come to life? Well time, time is always something that you do not have enough of when it comes to setting up a party it's always behind and trying to get every little detail together is hard! The hard part of every little detail is that some details are to much and take away from others and that you gotta understand that change is okay and taking things out and adding things is, is okay!
Party planning can be very hard and very frustrating but it doesn't have to be if you remember that a party it meant for a fun time! Always remember that a party is not meant to be stressful and it's always meant to be fun so make the planning process fun too!
